The work it picks up is whatever you have marked as settled, so nothing starts on a brief that is still being argued over. From there it drafts an approach, writes the code, reads its own output back critically and opens the change for review — unattended, through the small hours, waiting for you at your desk.

easy-install — First-run setup for the factory manager bot. Explain what the factory does, pick the watched repo, choose a trigger and a harness (Cloud Agents default, any CLI), enable the mode skills. Confirm before any mutating step.
owner-config — Use when the owner clarifies how this bot should run. Store standing preferences and learnings in the bot's own memory. Preference store only, not factory modes (harness, land, local take-over). Leave the description frozen.

Profile — Ping the owner only for NEEDS_HUMAN, ASKED, or owner-gated send/pay/publish/merge/taste. Empty inbox is quiet. Idle while ready specs exist is the failure mode.
Profile — Ready specs only. Drafts wait. Leave the bot description frozen; store run rules in owner-config memory and how-to-run.
Profile — Default harness is Cursor Cloud Agents. Launch the phase, arm the done-wake before the launch returns, then classify and start the next phase. A phase with no done-signal is a bug. Hang-check is stall backup.
Profile — Trigger options, same weight: manual branch link or go; push webhook; host event listener; schedule; Linear Ready. Reuse an existing matching routine. Never mint a duplicate webhook.
